PAY
- $500-$900 per day paid via direct deposit on the 15th and last day of the month (based on tenure and skill level)
- $50-$100 bonus per 5-star reviewed event paid at the end of the year
- $17.25/hr for training and non-event related work
- Tips averaging $50-$75 per event

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working 8-12 hours per gig (including drive time, setup/tear down, loading)
- Communicating and meeting with clients face to face 1-2 weeks before their event
- Transporting equipment in your personal vehicle back and forth from our warehouse and your event
- Setting up and tearing down equipment
- Preparing song set lists and practicing mixing and transitioning between songs
- Emcee/MC/Microphone work, such as introductions, announcements, instructions, crowd work, or MC group activities
- Playing good song requests and telling people who make bad song requests, “It’s coming soon, I promise!”
- Dealing with the occasional “mean drunk” guest
- Dealing with the much more common, “fun drunk” guest
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven history and track record of reliability
- Outgoing, extroverted, positive, and fun personality
- Ability to lift up to 60lbs
- Presentable, reliable, and insured transportation to haul gear to and from events
- Coachable and teachable
- Over the age of 18
- Ability to work nights and weekends

We are hiring a AV Specialist in Kansas City, Missouri. As an AV Specialist, you are responsible for setting up, running, and striking AV systems, and performing general labor as assigned at client job locations. Local and regional travel will be required for this position. This is a mid-level role for someone who has prior AV / Live Event experience. This is a full-time position. This position will report to our Director of Operations (Zach Smith).
REQUIREMENTS
- Hours are from Wednesday through Saturday with an average of 32 hours per week. These will fluctuate based on production event needs and special projects.
PAY
- Base Salary of $45K a year with an annual target bonus of $1,500 a year
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with packing, loading, unloading, and setup of equipment
- Operate essential lighting, video, and audio functions
- Assist with warehouse functions such as inventory management, improving warehouse processes, equipment maintenance, and learning new skills
- Assist with production-related projects as assigned by leadership
- Understand company processes, follow procedures, and complete systems entry and paperwork accurately
- Use equipment sheets to determine the equipment scheduled for set up and for strike
- Interact with other staff and clients in a professional and courteous manner
- Actively learn new skills that can benefit our clients
- Become an expert with all of our equipment
- Have fun on our events so everyone enjoys working with our team
- Drive our company vehicles as needed
- Take on more responsibilities as the company grows
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in the AV industry
- An understanding of signal path in AV systems
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Able to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and accurately
- Able to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift a minimum of 50lbs
- Flexible schedule and able to work nights and weekends as needed
- A keen eye for detail
- A valid driver’s license and insurance
- Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Competency with Google, Microsoft, and Adobe Suite
- Basic Networking Infrastructure
- Competency with AV software including the following: OBS, Sennheiser WSM, QLab, DaVinci Resolve, NDI Tools, Resolume Arena, Lightkey, Onyx, and Dante Controller
- Dante Level 1 or higher certification

We are hiring Part-Time General Laborers in Kansas City, Missouri. General Laborers perform various tasks to support production operations, warehouse operations, and special projects. This position requires physical dexterity, continuous physical activity, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment. This is a part-time position. This position will report to our Director of Operations (Zach Smith).

- $250 per day
- Hours will fluctuate based on event needs.

- Interact with other staff and clients in a professional and courteous manner
