Personal Bio
Joe currently studies classical horn performance at the UMKC Conservatory of Music and Dance. An avid cyclist, powerlifter, and jazz pianist on weeknights. When he’s not throwing parties for the enjoyment of others he is often described as ruminating and contemplative through the use of today’s finest literary arts in the pursuit of the modern warrior poet lifestyle.

We had Levity Events DJ our wedding and Joe was AMAZING! He kept the dance floor packed and helped the night move along seamlessly. He maintained communication and played all the songs we wanted. We have had nothing short of an incredible experience. Thank you, Joe!
Our DJ, Joe M, had a long meeting with us a week before our wedding to iron out a lot of very specific details, and I think that’s what made the difference between just a good experience and a GREAT one. He approaches his work almost like science – he had a lot of thoughts about exactly when in the night he likes to play specific types of songs because of the effect he knows that they have on crowds. And I think he was spot on with all of them! I am so, so glad we went with Levity (and specifically Joe).
Best DJ EVER! Joe with Levity Events was just fantastic. He brought a lot of energy to the party, perfectly capturing our musical preferences and keeping guests on the dance floor. The booking manager, Ryan Botts, also made the process easy and stress-free. Very professional team; we would book 100x’s over!
DJ Joe was excellent! We had a long meeting before the wedding to establish the schedule, songs, dancing expectations, what we wanted him to do throughout the day to help make our wedding day the best day ever. When our wedding came around, Joe helped make sure we had everything going the way it needed to happen. The best part was the energy during the reception. The dance floor was busy from start to finish, but he still took his time to give us a private final dance to end the evening. We had a great time with DJ Joe and Levity, so we highly recommend them for your reception.
