I am a professional wedding & portrait photographer based in Kansas City, Missouri. My love for photography budded in myhigh school photography classes when I purchased my first SLR camera. From that very first click of the shutter, I was smitten. Since then, Ihave spent the better part of my life experiencing the world through the lens.

In 2014, I turned my attention towards professionally photographing a more rewarding subject: people! After my first portrait session, I was exhausted but completely exhilarated by how much fun I’d had with my clients. It was on that day that I realized the greatest thing about being a portrait photographer: getting to capture true love, true life, and unforgettable moments.

Of all the types of photography I enjoy, I especially love photographing weddings! My couples’ stories and beautiful wedding days inspire me and, more importantly, they inspire my photography! I love seeking out the unique details and subtle personalities that make my couples’ wedding days perfect for them, and then capturing them with my camera.

Ihave a BA in Spanish and Anthropology, a Minor in Fine Arts, and an MBA in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. Only recentlyhave I built my business to the point where ithas become my full-time job! Before that, I worked in non-profit fundraising and marketing. I share this with you not to go on and on about my resume, but to give you a glimpse at the professionalism and discipline that I carry with me from the corporate world. While much of my life is different owning my own business, my commitment tohard work and integrity remain.
