We are hiring a AV Specialist in Kansas City, Missouri. As an AV Specialist, you are responsible for setting up, running, and striking AV systems, and performing general labor as assigned at client job locations. Local and regional travel will be required for this position. This is a mid-level role for someone who has prior AV / Live Event experience. This is a full-time position. This position will report to our Director of Operations (Zach Smith).

REQUIREMENTS

Hours are from Wednesday through Saturday with an average of 32 hours per week. These will fluctuate based on production event needs and special projects.

PAY

Base Salary of $45K a year with an annual target bonus of $1,500 a year

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with packing, loading, unloading, and setup of equipment
Operate essential lighting, video, and audio functions
Assist with warehouse functions such as inventory management, improving warehouse processes, equipment maintenance, and learning new skills
Assist with production-related projects as assigned by leadership
Understand company processes, follow procedures, and complete systems entry and paperwork accurately
Use equipment sheets to determine the equipment scheduled for set up and for strike
Interact with other staff and clients in a professional and courteous manner
Actively learn new skills that can benefit our clients
Become an expert with all of our equipment
Have fun on our events so everyone enjoys working with our team
Drive our company vehicles as needed
Take on more responsibilities as the company grows

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent
A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in the AV industry
An understanding of signal path in AV systems
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Able to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and accurately
Able to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner
Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift a minimum of 50lbs
Flexible schedule and able to work nights and weekends as needed
A keen eye for detail
A valid driver’s license and insurance
Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable

PREFERRED SKILLS

Competency with Google, Microsoft, and Adobe Suite
Basic Networking Infrastructure
Competency with AV software including the following: OBS, Sennheiser WSM, QLab, DaVinci Resolve, NDI Tools, Resolume Arena, Lightkey, Onyx, and Dante Controller
Dante Level 1 or higher certification

We are hiring Part-Time General Laborers in Kansas City, Missouri. General Laborers perform various tasks to support production operations, warehouse operations, and special projects. This position requires physical dexterity, continuous physical activity, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment. This is a part-time position. This position will report to our Director of Operations (Zach Smith).

PAY

$250 per day
Hours will fluctuate based on event needs.

Cleaning job sites
Assisting skilled team members
Assist with production-related projects as assigned by leadership

We are hiring a Sales & Marketing Assistant in Kansas City, Missouri with travel. As a Sales & Marketing Assistant, you are responsible for assisting the Director of Sales in generating and sourcing leads, attending networking events, driving our marketing campaigns, and growing our brand awareness.

This is a part-time hybrid position that will report to our Director of Sales (Jenny Mora) with the hope of expanding into a full-time hybrid position within 12 months.

REQUIREMENTS

Hours are from Tuesday through Friday with a maximum of 20 hours per week. These will fluctuate based on production event needs and special projects and may require some nights and weekends.

PAY

$20/hour (16-20 hours per week) plus 1% commission and a $1,000 annual target bonus based on metrics/performance/company performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist Director of sales with sourcing 30 new leads per week through various channels and inputting leads into our sales funnel
Assist with creating proposals and creating renders
Capture content of our events using your own mobile device, or a provided DSLR camera, drone, or steadicam
Collecting content from professionally hired media personnel (photographers/videographers)
Organize content in company drive folders for future use
Create and post content to social media channels weekly (Blog, Email List, Linked In, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)
Build email campaigns and maintain the email database for quality targeted blasts
Attend networking events with our Director of Sales
Coordinate with our web developer/graphic design partner for website updates and changes as needed
Meet weekly with your leader to stay on top of tasks/projects
Other relevant sales/marketing tasks and projects as needed
Monitor company info@ inbox
Sometimes assist AV team with loading/unloading gear, pushing cases, cleaning cables, fluffing drape, etc.
Plan and send out holiday cards
Any other duties relevant to assisting the sales and marketing efforts of Levity

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Quiet and calm home environment for working
Availability to work from home, at least 4 hours per day during normal business hours (between 10 and 5pm), during normal business days (Tue-Fri)
Availability to attend local Kansas City events to capture content
Availability for some travel
Able to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner
Self-driven and does not require a lot of management
Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift a minimum of 50lbs
Flexible schedule and able to work nights and weekends with adequate notice as needed
A keen eye for detail
A valid driver’s license and insurance

PREFERRED SKILLS

Competency with WordPress/Divi, Google Business Suite, TikTok/Instagram studio, Mailchimp, and various graphic design softwares such as Sketchup
Previous experience with mass email campaigns and branding for social media
Naturally creative and up to date with modern marketing trends
